Crystal graduated with a Bachelors in Music with Honours at the Royal College of Music, London (NAFA), with flute as her principal instrument. Since pursuing music at NAFA, she has studied with Evgueni Brokmiller (Associate Principle Flute of Singapore Symphony Orchestra), Roberto Alvarez (Principle Piccolo of Singapore Symphony Orchestra) and Susan Milan (Professor at the Royal College of Music, Recording Artiste). She has also attended and participated in numerous masterclasses, conducted by world renowned flautists.

Apart from performing solo and participating in local events such as the Singapore Night Festival, Singapore’s Sports Awards and Chingay, Crystal has also attained ‘Outstanding Award’ in the 7th Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna, with the Singapore Management University Symphonia. She has also had the opportunity to perform at many distinguished concert halls with them, such as the Musikverein (home to Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) and the CVS MuTh (home to the Vienna Boy’s Choir).

Besides her flute studies, Crystal has also attained her Grade 8 in Piano (practical) and Grade 8 in Theory of Music. She has always had a passion for singing as well, with a diversity of genres – that would range even from Pop/Indie to Musicals!

“Music is a universal voice and I always look to appreciate the different genres around.”
